In early February 2026, this 'Grand Guignol' caused a sensation at Staatsoper Hamburg; in March 2026 the much-noted Swiss premiere followed at Opernhaus Zürich; the Austrian premiere is scheduled for early April 2027 in the programme of Oper Graz. Completely detached from the grand opera machinery and the lively stage action, the double portrait of the two artists who have been friends for four decades now enters the interactive sound installation Ghosts & Vampires as world-travelling vampires, which has its world premiere at Wien Modern at Musikverein.
