Lass uns die Welt vergessen - Volksoper 1938
This new production interweaves Jara Benes' operetta with the historical reality of 1938: director Theu Boermans stages the cheerful Viennese entertainment against the backdrop of Nazi persecution of Jewish artists at the Volksoper. Conductor Keren Kagarlitsky reconstructed the score.
